Duty Free in King Abdulaziz Int’l Airport

In Collaboration with Leading International Partners, Jeddah Airports Launches 8,000 sqm Duty Free in King Abdulaziz Int’l Airport
Jeddah — September 17, 2025
Jeddah Airports launched the new 8000 square meter Duty-Free at King Abdulaziz International Airport, in collaboration with its strategic partner JAH Arabia International Duty-Free LLC—a joint venture bringing together Germany’s Gebr. Heinemann, Saudi Arabia’s Astra Group, and Jordanian Duty-Free Shops, combining international expertise with strong regional and local presence.
The new duty free extends across a total area of more than 8,000 square meters, distributed between Terminal 1 and the North Terminal, offering passengers a unique blend of global luxury and local authenticity—featuring more than 335 international brands across 35 retail outlets and boutiques, positioning it as a leading shopping destination across Saudi airports.
The Duty-Free features both local and international brands across multiple categories, including cosmetics, confectionery, gourmet foods, tobacco, souvenirs, fashion, accessories, and jewelry. It also includes dedicated standalone stores for renowned global brands such as Longchamp, Michael Kors, Swarovski, BOSS, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, and others.
To reflect the local identity, the Duty-Free features a traditional souq inspired by Arab heritage, offering local products such as chocolate, dates, nuts, and prayer rugs. The local touch further extends into the perfumes category with Saudi brands such as Bugshan, Sahari, Musk, Almas, Ghalati, and Le Bonheur. Among the exclusive offerings is the “Scents of Jeddah” collection, comprising three signature scents created by Saudi perfumer for Duty Free Jeddah to embody the spirit and authenticity of the region.
Alongside traditional shopping, the Duty-Free introduces a modern digital dimension with digital shelf pricing displays, self-service kiosks alongside conventional checkout counters, ensuring greater flexibility for passengers. The stores also feature interactive games and a dedicated photo corner branded “Jeddah Memories.”
Eng. Mazen Johar, CEO of Jeddah Airports said, “We are delighted to welcome passengers to the Duty Free, which reflects the status of King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah’s rich culture.”
“The new Duty-Free aims to deliver exceptional shopping options and enhance services available to passengers at the airport. It will undoubtedly contribute to increasing revenues, diversifying income sources, creating new investment opportunities for local and international investors, and generating direct and indirect job opportunities for Saudi youth in line with the National Aviation Strategy aligned with Saudi Vision 2030,” said Johar.
He added, “This success was achieved thanks to the close collaboration with our partner, JAH Arabia International Duty Free, and with the support of our success partners across both government and private sectors.”
