King Abdulaziz International Airport receives the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001: 2015)

King Abdulaziz International Airport has obtained the quality management system certification according to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015. King Abdulaziz International Airport was able to implement all the requirements and conditions required to obtain this certificate. After the completion of the external evaluation of the airport administrations by the international accrediting company Lloyd's Register. The certificate of accreditation was received by the General Manager of King Abdulaziz International Airport, Essam bin Fouad Nour, by a representative of the international accrediting Lloyd's Register company.

​This achievement comes in addition to the set of achievements for the airport to be among the best international competing airports while it confirms the commitment to adopting a culture of excellence, applying best practices for international standards in its various fields of operations. 

Achieving this certificate is a global recognition of the airport's commitment to international standards; as in to simplify work procedures, continuously measure and develop operations, self-monitoring, in addition to developing the capabilities of employees while motivating them to distinguished performances and innovation.

The Director-General of King Abdulaziz International Airport stated that the airport management is committed to providing high-quality services that guarantee the security and safety of all travelers and beneficiaries of the services provided at the airport; to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction.

He said: "Obtaining the ISO certificate came as a result of the excellent work environment in all Airport administrations, high competence of cadres, familiarity with the nature of work, in line with work procedures of the General Authority of Civil Aviation that apply to all local and international standards. With King Abdulaziz International Airport obtaining this certificate, it will motivate work and exert more effort to maintain a high level of performance ."

​Nour pointed out that the airport management has completed all the necessary stages and fulfilled the criteria for obtaining accreditation and granting the certificate; A team was formed to help achieve the following standards of work environment excellence.​
