With more than 30 displayed artworks, including panoramic murals, contemporary pieces, and sculptures, Terminal 1 at King Abdulaziz International Airport is home to one of the largest airport-based art collections in the region. As travelers pass through Arrivals, they’re surrounded by works like “Welcome to Jeddah” by Taha Sabban, “Jeddah Old Town” by Amal Felemban, and “Calligraphy” by Fahd Kholaif, which bring Saudi history and culture to life. We encourage all visitors to explore the gallery in Terminal 1 during their stay at the airport.
Cultural Events and Exhibitions at KAIA
The Hajj & Umrah Complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport was transformed into a cultural space for the Islamic Arts Biennale. The KAIA terminal welcomed over 600,000 visitors in 2025, showcasing the airport’s role as a platform for KAIA cultural exhibitions and cross-cultural dialogue, expanding KAIA’s achievements beyond travel.
