Overview:

In October 2023, GACA issued new economic regulations which introduce a range of obligations upon airport operating companies. Airports are now governed by the Economic Regulations for Airports which set out the framework governing the economic regulation of airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and impose certain obligations on JEDCO. These Regulations govern consultation requirements, the setting of airport charges, slot allocations, service quality, capital investment governance, and the Conditions of Use.

Details relating to the subject areas highlighted above will be shared on this page and via the Airport User Committee, which is a group of representatives of airport users or organizations representing airport users. All airport users and service providers shall have the right to be on the committee or, if they so wish, to be represented on it by an organization appointed to that effect. Please contact [email protected] if you would like further information on this.
